Our Interior Painting Process

1
Prep

Furniture is moved or covered, floors are protected, holes are filled, and surfaces are sanded smooth.

2
Priming

New drywall, stain-prone surfaces, and dramatic color changes are primed for even, true color results.

3
Painting

Walls and ceilings are cut in by brush and rolled for complete, even coverage — typically two coats.

4
Detail & Cleanup

Trim is painted, tape is removed while paint is still slightly wet for clean edges, and all furniture and floor coverings are restored.

Interior Painting by City

Our local pros understand the unique conditions of your city — climate, home types, and seasonal challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to paint a room?
A standard bedroom takes 4–6 hours for two coats including prep. Larger rooms, high ceilings, and extensive trim work take longer. A full home repaint typically takes 3–5 days.
Do you supply the paint?
We can supply paint or use paint you've purchased. We typically charge a materials fee if supplying and recommend specific products based on your surface and finish goals.
What paint finish should I use in each room?
Flat/matte for low-traffic bedrooms and ceilings. Eggshell or satin for living rooms and bedrooms (more washable). Semi-gloss for kitchens, bathrooms, and trim — most durable and washable.
How long does paint need to dry before I can use the room?
Most latex paints are touch-dry in 1–2 hours and fully dry in 24 hours. We recommend waiting 24 hours before light use and 2 weeks before washing painted surfaces.
