Can any electrical box support a ceiling fan?
No. Fans require a fan-rated box rated for dynamic loads (movement and weight). Standard light boxes are not adequate. We always install or verify a proper fan-rated box.
Can I install a ceiling fan where there's no existing light?
Yes, but it requires running new wiring from a nearby circuit or panel. This is more involved but very doable.
What's the right fan size for my room?
Up to 75 sq ft: 29–36 inch. Up to 175 sq ft: 42–48 inch. Up to 350 sq ft: 52–56 inch. Over 350 sq ft: 60 inch or multiple fans.
Can you install smart ceiling fans?
Yes. We install and configure smart fans from all major brands including Hunter, Hampton Bay, and Minka Aire, and can connect them to Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit.
